Preparation of design development documents for the second phase of streetscape improvements along Macdonald Avenue. This effort will build off of the improvement program developed as part of the Macdonald Avenue Revitalization Program. This strategy outlines a variety of programs aimed at revitalizing the Macdonald Avenue corridor, one such program was the streetscape improvement program which includes the widening of sidewalks, enhanced pedestrian lighting and angle parking. This year long effort will enhance the pedestrian/shopping environment in downtown Richmond.

Project update(s):

• The first phase is under way. It includes Harbour Way all the way through 19th Street.
• Second Phase is scheduled for construction early 2009. It includes Gerrard Way all the way through Harbour Way.
