Economic Development Commission

The Richmond Economic Development Commission (EDC) recommends long-term development goals to the City Council and City officials. It has 15 members appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Council.

The Commission meets on the second Wednesday of the month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Employment & Training Building, Conference Room One, 330-25th Street @ Macdonald Avenue. There is no meeting in August.

When the Commission has an opening, the Mayor interviews applicants. If you are interested in serving on the Commission, please complete an application and return it to:
